i have not been sleeping.

mostly because of jet lag,

half because zane has been gone.

he got home last night.

we made our perfect steak frites.

i bake-and-sear the steak.

when i start to sear, i have zane run to mcdonalds for fries.

by the time he returns home, they steak is plated and ready.

so happy to have him home.
